Interview Tips

Preparation
Research is the key to a good interview. You can do this on the internet, through newpapers and journals, at the library or through your recruitment consultant.
Be prepared with some responses to possible questions you may be asked and think of a few questions you would like to ask about the company or the position.

Presentation
First impressions are very important. You won't get a second chance at making a first impression. You will need to look, act and dress professionally. A dark suit and tie or skirt and jacket are professional.

Interview
Take a spare copy of your resume to the interview along with copies of your certificates and references.
Arrive at least ten minutes early as interviewers are unimpressed by lateness.
The interview is a two way discussion so answer questions directly, honestly and keep it to the point.
Never interrupt, always listen and answer only what is asked. If you want the question repeated don't be afraid to ask.
At the end of your interview, smile and thank the people involved for their time.
